Employees' use of social-networking sites is challenging
corporate legal departments when they have to engage in electronic
discovery preservation and collections - and when they seek to
monitor and control corporate communications.
Here's one of many frightening scenarios: An employee at lunch,
sitting among hundreds of other workers in the corporation's
cafeteria, uses a company-owned "smart phone" connected to the
company's wireless network to tweet on Twitter, commenting on a
recent departmental meeting...
