Enterprise Data Collections

Advanced networks and complicated enterprise systems are frequently implicated by legal and business related matters such as regulatory examinations, litigation, internal corporate investigations and M&A related projects.  BIA’s experts work with counsel and the client’s IT professionals to bridge any legal and technology gaps to ensure that all collection and production obligations are met and that collection, review and production are cost-effective and accomplished efficiently.

Onsite or Remote Data Collection (Harvesting)

Forensically sound and defensible data collection is the key to avoiding spoliation claims, preserving evidentiary integrity and ensuring accurate and complete discovery.  All data collection services are performed by certified computer forensics experts with investigative, IT and legal experience.  The service includes detailed, defensible chain of custody documentation, a comprehensive listing of all collected data and establishes evidentiary integrity throughout the entire process.

Forensically Sound Media Imaging

When deleted file recovery or comprehensive forensic examinations are required, traditional bit-by-bit imaging is available.  A forensically sound image (duplicate) of the media is created, establishing evidentiary integrity and chain of custody.  Accepted software such as EnCase, FTK, Linux .dd and other related tools are used.  No additional charges for onsite time or machine time incurred.

 • Onsite Media Imaging/Duplication.

 • In-Lab Media Imaging (BIA Computer Forensics Lab).

 • All work performed by Certified Forensics Examiners
