E-Discovery has evolved and grown
over the last ten years to become a necessary part of doing
business. Companies have vast amounts of electronically stored
information that clearly needs to be discovered for legal and
regulatory matters. But companies, in general, have had a difficult
time incorporating e-discovery as a business process, mainly
because of how complicated it is. Accessing, searching and
preparing a large volume of information from many different systems
and employees in different departments and locations in a short
timeframe is a daunting task, and is made more difficult by the
stringent rules that govern how that process has to occur.
In this paper you will:
- Examine the different detailed levels of the Maturity
Model
- Learn how to measure a company's maturity level and chart the
development
- Discover the different focus, strategy, expertise and costs at
each level
