Inside Sales/Lead Generation Representative

 

Location: San Francisco, CA

The successful candidate for this position will be expected to perform articulate, knowledgeable outbound sales calls, telemarketing calls, and electronic communication to prospects in order to acquire new business leads. We are looking for a motivated individual who overcomes objections to achieve sales targets.

 

He/she will further develop the company's database of prospective clients by identifying and qualifying prospects and setting appointments for the sales executives. The position will require the candidate to develop a working knowledge of the company's offerings. Ideal candidates will have experience navigating all levels of an organization to identify decision-makers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to identify target companies, developing and executing a Prospecting Plan for the Sales Lead Pipeline.
  • Assist business development staff in pre-sales activities such as defining solutions, crafting proposals and presenting solutions to customers.
  • Work with customers and their resources to successfully identify fitting discovery solutions.
  • Achieve and maintain thorough working knowledge of company's products and solutions, case studies, and business value to identify and drive qualified leads.
  • Achieve and/or exceed all quarterly lead quotas.
  • Record all communication, sales and lead qualification activity into Salesforce.com CRM system.
  • Collaborate cross departmentally to plan and coordinate campaigns to drive develop new leads.

Skills:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in high-tech business to business environment responsible for outbound cold calling.
  • Must be a positive high energy person who is a team player who is motivated.
  • Ability to navigate corporate organizations to identify decision-makers.
  • Ability to handle initial objections and identify additional opportunities.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding lead generation objectives.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional listening, verbal and e-mail communication skills, and proven qualifications skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Reliable, strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised.
