A Message from our CEO about COVID-19


Service assurances during these unprecedented times.

To all our valued clients and partners, I wanted to take a moment to assure you that BIA is fully prepared to continue to serve your needs during this challenging time. 

Even though the COVID-19 pandemic has within a very short time changed the way we live and work more profoundly than any of us thought possible, the BIA team remains committed to ensuring that we continue to provide you with the same level of service excellence you’ve come to expect from us at all times.

For nearly twenty years, BIA has consistently developed, maintained and tested our Business Continuity Plans (BCP), which are designed to rapidly respond to emergencies, secure the safety of our team and our systems, and ensure that we continue to provide excellent and uninterrupted services to our clients and partners.  While we routinely test our BCP preparedness, this isn’t the first time we’ve had to activate those plans in response to a large-scale emergency.

When our NYC headquarters was taken offline for several weeks following Hurricane Sandy due to power, telecom and transportation outages, we activated our BCP and continued to serve our clients as normal without missing a single beat.  And since then, our plans and preparations – and the technologies we utilize – have only gotten better, more efficient and more secure.

Indeed, we have already activated our BCP policies and taken certain steps where appropriate.  For example, in locations where local, state or federal authorities have so recommended, we have encouraged our employees to work remotely.  We have provided extra training to our team members on both our BCP procedures and the CDC’s recommended best practices for helping avoid the spread of the Coronavirus. We also have rapidly deployed additional equipment where appropriate to ensure our team remains as productive as possible, no matter their location.  Those steps and more all help to ensure your BIA services will continue uninterrupted. 

Our senior management team is continually monitoring the situation and developments and will continue to take all appropriate actions.
