Adam Feinberg joined BIA in 2004 and as executive vice president, professional services oversees project management, technical services, forensic/data acquisition, document review support and hosting operations. Adam is also a senior advisor and heads BIA’s data collection and forensics group, where he has served as a lead expert in the forensically sound collection of electronic data in hundreds of cases.
Adam has an extensive background in technology and has been the lead examiner on many high-profile digital investigations and audits. He has additional experience in intellectual property theft investigations, internal corporate investigations and audits, systems security audits, gap analysis and vulnerability assessments. He has developed or refined processes and workflows for clients, spoken at various industry and legal seminars and webinars and authored numerous articles and white papers.
Adam began his career by opening one of the first independently owned Apple franchises when he was in high school, and he later joined the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) where, in the mid-1980s, he hand-wrote spreadsheets to manage military manpower allocation with a ruler and pencil. He attended Tel Aviv University and after returning to the U.S., achieved certification as Microsoft MCSE, MCP+I, Cisco CCNA and is a certified computer forensic specialist.
He is also a Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS), has been an InfraGard Secure member since its founding, and has passed a comprehensive FBI background check.
Adam has a love of running and has achieved records for the first known running of five 5Ks in five countries (Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, N. Ireland) in one day as well as three 5Ks in thee countries (Canada, Mexico, USA) in one day.
