BIA, a leading national eDiscovery and digital forensic services provider, announced today the addition of David Manber as national account director and litigation consultant.
A noted and respected industry expert, Manber has more than 20 years of experience in litigation support. He has provided consulting, management and both user and administrative training on all aspects of eDiscovery, from litigation anticipation through time of trial (including protocols and workflows), digital forensic services and analysis, document review technology, data management, trial presentations and more. Before consulting full-time, Manber served as director of litigation support services for U.S. Legal Support, Inc., with previous experience as a partner in a litigation technology company as well as in-house at various law firms. In his new role with BIA, he will help the firm ensure the delivery of customized, high-quality eDiscovery and forensic services, including managed review and database hosting.
“BIA has a reputation for providing sound counsel to our clients on eDiscovery, forensic and investigative matters, and David, with his rich history of expertise and success within the industry, fits that bill perfectly,” said Mark MacDonald, BIA’s senior vice president of business development. “We’re thrilled to have David on our team and know our clients will benefit from his ability to tailor services and technologies to ensure efficiency and lower legal spend.”
Manber has developed and presented litigation support training programs for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice, the New York State Attorney General’s Office and the New York City Law Department. He has also led CLE presentations on electronically stored information, cost savings in eDiscovery and litigation support technologies, and he has provided training and consulting for industry-standard platforms and tools such as Relativity, Ipro Eclipse, Reveal’s InControl, Concordance, Summation and Trial Director.
