Lisa Prowse, BIABIA, a leading national eDiscovery and forensic services provider, today announced the promotion of Lisa Prowse, Esq., to senior vice president of litigation technology and document review.

“Lisa has been an essential team player for BIA since she started with us. She has continually challenged herself and risen to the occasion, assisting our clients and exceeding expectations,” said BIA CEO and President Brian Schrader. “We’re happy to recognize the hard work and dedication she continues to bring to the job daily.”

Prowse has more than 20 years of experience in document review and an extensive background in eDiscovery. She joined BIA in 2009 as a review solutions specialist and was promoted to vice president of legal services and document review in 2013. Prowse is a licensed attorney, has administered various document management and review platforms and has experience in database administration and design. In addition to being a Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS), she is a certified Relativity Administrator, Brainspace 6 Analyst, Blackout Administrator, Catalyst Repository Trainer and Catalyst Power Search Specialist, among others.

“This promotion exemplifies a period of great expansion and success for BIA,” said Schrader. “Lisa’s leadership, experience and expertise ensure our team and our clients will receive the guidance, services and results they desire.”

“When I started at BIA 10 years ago, I was so excited that I'd found a company that valued quality legal services as much as I did,” said Prowse. “One of my first projects at BIA was to set up the permanent, full-time document review team, and to get the document review process ISO certified. Nobody else in the industry had done so, and it seemed like being able to document and reproduce the process would make the document review team (and their reviews) very consistent and accurate – and it did. I later took over the Review Services group, which handles everything for our Relativity, Catalyst, and Reveal workspaces, and the Data Services group, which handles post-processing and productions. I also created the Litigation Technology group. Now that I'm in charge of ensuring quality legal services for everything from searching, hosting, review, and production, we're working on streamlining all of the processes so that they are not only done well, but also efficiently, so we can save our clients money.”
